Galaxy RingI workout in a home gym, alternating days between a stationary bike and a rower. After riding my bike, the Samsung Health app shows detailed heart rate information for my workout. After rowing, there is no HR information for the workout and looking just at heart rate information, there is no sign of my elevated heart rate during my workout. Why would it not record any HR information during a workout? How do I fix it?

Galaxy RingThis morning I tried an experiment to see if something about being in rowing working mode disabled the heart rate sensor. I rowed but I didn't tell the app I was rowing. I felt my heart rate increase as usual but the ring never showed elevated heart rate.
I thought it might be that the rower handle was pressing the ring against my finger causing bad or odd readings but my heart continued to beat quickly after I stopped rowing and went about my morning routine and when I checked my heart rate history later, there was nothing above normal variation.
My heart rate while biking is roughly 2x my resting heart rate. My ring and my cheap fitness band agree on that. My heart rate while rowing is roughly 3x my resting heart rate according to the band (and subjectively feels faster than when biking) but the ring never shows any variation during or after rowing. Does it see 3x resting and discard it as bad data?
Next time I row, I'll try to remember to take a manual measurement as soon as I stop to see if it catches the fast rate while I cool down.
