Galaxy S PhonesI'm curious about how AI works in mobile. Like, when I use features like face unlock, voice assistants, or those AI camera modes - what's actually happening behind the scenes? Is it all happening on my phone or in the cloud? I'm not looking for super technical details, just want to understand the basics of how these AI features work on mobile devices. Any explanations would be appreciated!

Galaxy S PhonesSome users, however, aren't comfortable with data being communicated back & forth. They can go to Settings - Galaxy AI and select "Process data only on device". They might be limited in the quality of results, but no AI processing will occur off the phone.
Functions like Face Unlock pre-date AI by a decade - that's merely the phone comparing your image to the one you'd saved... if it's a match, it unlocks. I hope this helps.
