Agreed! Samsung can be so shifty and incoherent with the info that they require.... It would take 0.00002 seconds to take it off, I'd just go ahead and do that.

It's never mattered for me if I had one on or not so long as the actual screen is in good condition

You dont need to remove it but I think you should take it off to play it safe
