Galaxy S Phonessee this pen? Looks cool right? It has a button that you can use to set your phone down when the camera is open, back up, and take a photo with it. Pretty neat! However it's missing a really cool and useful feature. A Bluetooth mic. It can be done. If I want to set the phone down and record a video, this pen should double as a high quality mic so that I can back up from the phone and still be heard clearly without having to raise my voice to ensure the sound travels to the phone's mic. This would be useful in presentations, creating content for social media (think of the tiktokers that would flock to samsung over iPhone), video calling with friends and family to show them things, ect.
Also, give us the headphone jack back!! I don't want to buy headphones I have to worry about charging. I in fact refuse to.
(new to the galaxy s 22 ultra, just jumped from an s10+)

Galaxy S PhonesYeah it could be done if you don’t want the s-pen built into the phone since that would require a Bluetooth radio and mic and a battery installed inside it so it’s not possible to do that.
And headphones they now sell USB c headphones that don’t require charging or you could purchase a usb c to aux adapter if you want to use a old pair of headphones the headphones port is dead and won’t be returning since they are better options

Galaxy S PhonesThe pen already has a battery installed from what I see when I remove it (I'm shown "pen battery level". I tiny mic would be just as easy as the tiny mics phones have. A radio antenna wouldn't be hard, doesn't need to be a large one, just run it half the length of the pen on the inside. Bluetooth chips can be just as tiny as mics. I've seen some extremely tiny Bluetooth mics being used by content creators so I can see just how small if not smaller they can get. Worst case scenario is the pen may need a size increase to make it happen not it's totally possible.

Galaxy S PhonesAhhh interesting. And what if the phone size increase to make room for a side loaded pen rather than top or bottom?

Galaxy S PhonesSo a side loaded spen would make the phone as wide as the fold is unfolded so basically a tablet.

Galaxy S Phonesbattery already in it (screenshot)
It already has some type of radio or something in it because otherwise the phone wouldn't be able to know when you've left the pen somewhere that's not around the device.
