I have an S20 plus. The screen is broken. There is no touch capability.

I am selling it. I want to sell it. What folders do I need to delete? Phone numbers and texts most importantly.

Also, power Off does not work.

Thanks.

You just need to do a factory data reset. All of your data will be removed.

I don't know how to do that with not being able to turn the phone off.

Can I erase all folders on the phone when connected to my PC, or do some folders have to be left untouched.

Force a reboot of your phone using the buttons, and then you can factory reset - no touch needed as long as you can see the screen.

1. Power off your Galaxy phone by holding down the power and volume down buttons until it reboots. Immediately hold Power and vol up buttons until Samsung Logo appears

2. Let go of both buttons when you see the Samsung Logo appear on screen. There will be a delay while it enters recovery mode.

3. Use the volume buttons to navigate through recovery menu options and highlight ā€œresetā€ Press power button to select this option. Confirm by navigating to the yes response and tapping the power button to select.

5 .When reset is complete the phone will either reboot on its own or "reboot phone now" should be highlighted; press power key to select it . The phone will reboot as normal and be cleaned.

Got it. I had the push the power volume down buttons a longer time.

Should I wipe the cache partition?

You don't need to wipe the cache if you are resetting the phone, it's automatically wiped.
