Galaxy S PhonesI recently had to reset my phone and I have never had a problem with samsung calendar. Before, it didn't notify birthdays and now this. It's synced with my google account and I did everything that I could think of. I updated both google and my phone, checked out if samsung calendar got a new update and it didn't have one. I'm going crazy, it's really important to me. I use this app everyday and when I add a birthday information to a contact, it took seconds to appear on samsung calendar and it also took seconds when I removed birthday information from my contacts. But now, it takes minutes for a birthday to show up un samsung calendar and it also won't go if I remove them from my contacts. Please, please help me.
The one I circled with red just won't go. I already deleted the birthday information from my contact and I even deleted the contact all together to see if it would go but it's still there.

Galaxy S PhonesSo should I try to edit contact information and edit/change birthday without saving and then delete it?

Galaxy S Phones@smsgs21fe I managed to fix this, but it's an annoying process.
1. Turn off google account sync for calendar and contacts
2. Clear app date from and Uninstall Samsung Calendar
3. Install aCalendar
4. Open Up Calendar Storage by: aCalendar MENU - Manage Calendars - 3-dots menu in top-right corner - App Info - Calendar storage.
5. Delete data from Calendar Storage
6. Install Samsung Calendar
7. It will ask you to enable calendar sync when starting, hit OK
- you will start to see calendars sync
8. Activate the contacts calendar (hidden by default)
- you wont see the contact dates yet
9. Turn on google account sync for contacts
- when you do this, you should see calendar sync get triggered in the list
After doing all of this, dates I deleted from contacts were no longer on the calendar.
If you can somehow get to the "Calendar Storage" system app to clear the data without using aCalendar (skipping step 3 and 4), that would be a bonus, but I think it's hidden from the apps list in settings.
