This is just my opinion, but I hope Samsung considers customizing their messaging app to be more like iMessage, especially regarding video chat features. Samsung has a real opportunity to improve their messaging app significantly, but it seems like they haven't made much effort. I'm curious why that is, especially with Android 15 on the horizon, which could provide the perfect opportunity for such improvements.
Google Messages and Google Meet, in my opinion, aren't up to par. Samsung could really stand out here if they take advantage of the new Android update.
Samsung Messages hasn't gotten new features in a long time. It actually has had features taken away. While Samsung Messages might not fully go away. It will eventually only have SMS/MMS. No chat features, no high res photo or videos.
With Iphones coming Sept, finally opening up to RCS, it will ONLY WORK IN GOOGLE MESSAGES.
