Need to change gradient in camera edit

Hi, why is this answer so hard to find? All of google & all of Samsung has no answer. Here's the ?: I want to add text to a picture in S9 camera edit. It only gives me option to have 'gradient' color? WHY, WHY, WHY,? When did this stupid font color take over. HELP!

@Lorikelli After you click the T icon to enter text, click the word "Gradient". This is the font format being used. When you click it, it will change to the next choice. You can click through to see all of the options.
