Galaxy S PhonesCannot receive messages from work related system. This system is in the form of a phone number, but isn't. It will be considered invalid if you call it. But, the number is important because the company sends out emergency details to all crew members. For example, bad weather, fire hazards, etc. We text one word to the particular number, and in return youll get a response back that your number is stored. Guess who didnt get a text back? Signal is good.

Galaxy S PhonesHello tinz, Welcome to the Community. We understand how concerning it is to not be able to receive messages from the work-related system.
We do have a troubleshooting link for text messages: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001439/
However, this sounds like the work-related system is using a short-code. If after completing the troubleshooting, you are still unable to receive the messages, we recommend reaching out to your service provider to ensure that short codes are enabled for your account. Your service provider is responsible for ensuring that texting is working properly.
