Here's a 

 

I'm writing to report a frustrating issue with my Samsung S20+ device, purchased on September 21, 2024.

 

On October 19, 2024, I woke up to find a pink vertical line on the screen. This defect is unacceptable, especially given the device's age (less than a month old).

They have a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Your well within that. Do a warranty exchange thru your carrier.

Since the device is 4 1/2 years old I suspect itā€™s a refurbished device that they sold as new Iā€™m sorry this has happened to you this normally occurs when the screen display cable is damaged and not a software issue the only way to fix this issue is with a screen replacement. I would suggest contacting support or locate a service center near you to have the issue resolved.

Like @GaryB82 said it's a refurbished phone I would try a return or a repair center
