I realized after buying an unlocked version straight from Samsung that there is no RCS integrated with the UI. Why doesn't Samsung provide it?

Samsung messages does support RCS but it is also carrier dependent. Your carrier may not support it to an unbranded phone.

That's the carrier 'punishing' you for not buying one of their phones I guess.

Hi, Chat/RSC service was avialbe on my S10 plus. However, after upgrading to S20 ultra, there is No "Chat setting" in its default message app. When I try to use Google's own Message App, it says "Chat service is not available on this phone". Tried to reset the network setting but it is still the same.

Please Help!!!!!!!!

You have to enter beta and download carrier services. Try that.
