Why does the camera always have to open to a 0.9 or 1.0 zoom?

Why not just let the camera open up completely zoomed out?

I think that needs to be handled in the next update. It's just a redundant, time wasting camera feature, especially for those that can't back to Samsung specifically for the camera functionality.

Here's one way to achieve that:

  1. Open the Camera
  2. Set the camera up the way that you want it.
  3. Click the Recents button (or swipe up on the left bottom to open Recents).
  4. Press and hold on the Camera icon on the top of the Camera app window. A drop down menu will appear.
  5. Click keep open.
  6. Now the Camera will be avilable in Recents with the settings which you selected above.

Hello,

That helped, thank you!

Now I just have to remember to use recents instead of reopening the app.
