My girlfriend has the exact same phone on Verizon but she has the option to make video calles (NOT through duo) and I don't. I don't have any options for it in my settings or my phone app settings. The only difference is I bought this phone unlocked straight from Samsung. I'm currently posting this while trying to get answers from Verizon as well. SOMEONE HELP! THIS IS ANNOYING!

If you want to use Verizon's video calling, you will need a Verizon phone.

The other thing to remember about carrier provided video calling, it only works between phones on that carrier.

Duo works across carriers and platforms.

Unlocked is the difference. Video calling is a carrier feature and they frequently don't support it on unlocked phones.

Is there no possible way around this? Am I forced to buy the phone from Verizon or whatever carrier that supports this feature? Because I get WiFi calling just fine.

I am having exactly the same frustration. I wonder if this is a Verizon thing. Has anyone else been able to do video calling on an Unlocked S20 with a carrier other than Verizon?
