Galaxy S Phones
My phone has gone crazy. It won't accept my 4 digit pin to unlock. I also have it to open using my face and a fingerprint but it doesn't give me any other options but the 4 digit code. And it won't accept it. I have not changed it I've had the same pin since getting the phone years ago. I do have a tablet that is under the same account. But that only gives me the option to factory reset and lose everything on my phone. Ie pictures and saved passwords. Any suggestions or advice. I feel like I'm **bleep**. If I could save the pictures to my tablet I'll rest my phone. But I can't figure that one out.

The phone won't allow you to unlock with biometrics after a restart or after 72 hours of uptime.
If you factory reset, you will not lose everything on your phone if you have been auto backing up. If you do not have your phone set to auto backup (why?), then you can make a manual backup before you reset, and then restore the backup once you reset your device. You can also make a backup to a flash drive using Smart Switch which, again, you can restore to your phone after reset. With Smart Switch, you can either make a complete backup of everything, or you can selectively backup just your photos, notes, messages, etc. The cloud backup contains your apps, settings and themes. Your photos should be syncing with Google photos unless you manually turned that off. So, really, you should not lose anything, except you *will* have to re-enter your cards into Samsung Wallet (if you use it). For security, that does not get saved in any backup.
