Galaxy S PhonesSamsung Galaxy S10 suddenly locking itself. We turned it on yesterday morning and tried to unlock it and it said its locked for 1440 minutes. Didn't even get a chance to try and log in. So we left it for a day and let it go flat. Popped it on the charge this morning and started it up and straight away says its locked for another 1440 minutes. What can we do to fix this, what might the issue be. So frustrating. We did factory reset and nothing helped. Thanks for any help.

Let's see, your phone is more than 5 years old and hasn't had any Android updates and more than 2 years. I think one of two things, either the phone is nearing its end of life, or you've picked up some malware that is giving that countdown for you. In either case, I would ditch the phone as it's open to the whole world with no protection.

If you have really important content that you must get off the device, I would try and keep the device on and changed for the full 24 hours and see if you can catch the countdown timer as it reaches zero to try and unlock your screen. If you can, then go into the settings and remove the lock screen pin.
