Samsung Galaxy S8 keeps forgetting my SD card

How come my Samsung Galaxy s8 keeps forgetting my sd card every couple of days? I have to reinsert it all the time since the last update! Please help!!!

Hope all is well 

I've seen this with some sd card that when there about to go bad they become intermittent and are able to be read sometimes until they don't. I would recommend that you backup your sd card info on a computer and purchase a new sd card.

Is there a way to get it all back if the sd card doesn't read anymore?

It is very hard to get the data off the sd card once its corrupt so I would backup that info as soon as  possible.

I had the same thing happen. Intermittent for a long time then stopped.

Took it out and could not read it on PC.

Tbh I have no apps in my sd card.  Just am a photographer
