Galaxy S PhonesHello, thanks for reaching out. I can understand the inconvenience of this setting not staying on to use for voice assistant calling on your S20FE.
First, let's try clearing your device's cache partition:
- Power off your device.
- While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons.
- Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode.
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select:
- Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power.
- Select yes to confirm.
- Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power.
If this doesn't help with the app's behavior, it is possible a third-party application is causing this. You can check with Safe Mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/
If the behavior is still present in Safe Mode, a factory reset may be in order. Back up everything you wish not to lose, and give your device a fresh start: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/
If even the factory reset doesn't help, submit an error report via the Samsung Members app (https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/raising-an-error-report-via-samsung-members-app/) and contact Google for further assistance, since they are the app's developer.
