Audio messages says cannot record too short

I cannot record audio messages in my text messages app..I used to be able but for a while it gives me message that audio message too short..even if I record a long message s21 5G phone

Mine too. It's on the standard message app... ? The one that comes stock with the s21.

Hi, my old 20 plus recorded text voice messages of any length, my new 20 plus doesn't, What's going on 🤔🤔

Hello all, thanks for responding and clarifying what the app is not recording audio messages.

Have you tried clearing the device cache partition? You can do so with the following steps:
 - Power off your device.
 - While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons. 
 - Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode. 
 
 Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select: 
 
 - Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power. 
 - Select yes to confirm. 
 - Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power. 

If it is still not recording audio messages saying it is too short, a third-party application may be responsible for this behavior. You should check with Safe Mode to be sure: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

If that doesn't help, and the behavior continues in Safe Mode, it may be time to try a factory reset. Back up everything you can beforehand so as not to lose it: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

Should the troubleshooting not be effective, submit an error report via the Samsung Members app: https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/raising-an-error-report-via-samsung-members-app/
