Settings, connections turn on mobile data or in the notification panel. Look for call & text on other devices. If you don't see it on the 1st page swipe to the left in the notification panel until you do, if still not there, you need to edit your notification panel to add it. Top righthand corner, 3 dots and edit. Once you see it turn it on. Then go to your tablet and turn it on. Been awhile but you may have to have your Bluetooth on and the devices paired beforehand. You should get a menu saying receive text and calls or do you want to allow them. From both or one of the devices. Then you should start seeing calls and texts. Open the phone app on your tablet and see if you can make a call. Then try texting.
