My s21 ultra's texted photos come up blurry on my bf's s9. With other phones, the photos won't even send or just a blurry. What the heck

have you checked the quality settings before sending it. I usually do original or for large attachments I tap on link sharing mode icon on the right

It may be that you're not saving the pictures as jpeg's.

Open the Camera->Settings->Picture Formats->Turn off "High Efficiency Pictures"

Now take a pic and try to send that. The pic will be resized by the Message app and may lose some picture quality.
