I have always been able to go to my settings in messenger and change the notification sound for my text messages until recently. I now have one notification for most apps. I've looked to see if it was moved haven't found the settings. Can anyone help or is this the results of the new update?
Edit (for Samsung or Google or whatever is the new one): Little figure icon in the top right corner Messages settings Notifications Notification Categories INCOMING MESSAGES And then it's under 'Sound'
I figured it out! Got help from remote.
In Messages app, then the three dots, go to Settings.
Notifications Notification Categories Tap General Notifications (not just sliding the bar, it actually opens something) Sound
