Cannot send group messages to group of 14.

Galaxy S21
(S21 Ultra) I'm in a group chat of 14. When I open the group, a notification appears saying, "Multimedia messages not available in conversations with more than 10 recipients."  Then when hitting send I receive "Unable to send message. Maximum number of recipients is 10. Delete recipients." 
Is there a way for me to be able to message a group larger than ten? (No one else in the group is having this issue.)

Please, can someone detail the steps for me to increase my group limit from 10 participants to 20 (if it can be increased)? Thank you.

S21 Ultra. One UI 4.1, Samsung Messages 13.2.20.9, 20 max group by default.

One thought, since MMS is a carrier thing perhaps the number of recipients is controlled by the carrier.  Mine is Verizon.

Thanks bill-e. I have Consumer Cellular.
I checked with them and they replied, "It is only possible to have up to 10 people in a group message at a time. This is a carrier restriction in place. It is not possible to have this increased."
