Double tap to turn off screen not working after update

For some reasons, double tap to turn off screen from the home screen stops working completely after updating to the latest software update. Does anyone have the same issue ?

I have tried restarting and turning on-off the feature in setting. None of that worked for me so far.

Please fix it Samsung.

My phone is the unlock S21Ultra for US market.

goto settings of your phone and search for "lock screen" it sounds like a simple reset of your type being used will fix it. a few updates back changed a few setting on my phone as well.

Same here. Was working when i got the phone (S21 Ultra), but once i updated the firmware it stopped working. The option is turned on in Settings, but it doesn't work. The latest Jan 1 2021 patch causes this problem. Samsung - please fix...

settings > advanced features > motions and gestures > is "double tap to turn off screen" enabled? 

FYI....only works on the home or lock screen

That feature is turned on, but it doesn't work from the home screen for some reasons. It used to work before the software update though

Turn off Magnification 

Turn off accessibility button and options for zoom screen

And doubletap screen off will work
