Hello, there is a simple fix to this. First, get your SIM card ejector and eject the SIM card while the phone is has been turned off. SIM card, meaning the sim card tray. After that, put in a microSD card that you might have bought from a store. Or got from a device. After that, close the SIM card tray very tightly and reboot the phone. Then you will have external storage.

Depending on what type of phone you have, you can also remove the back and insert a SD card or micro SD card.
