After the 7 ui update, my phone keeps losing connection to service network. I have a circle with a slash symbol. Then it goes to emergency calls only. It'll connection to network briefly then it loses it.

Have you reset mobile network settings? It's under settings, general management, reset.

Also, if you haven't cleared device cache yet, you should:

1) Turn off your device.

2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.

3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."

4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."

6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.

Rebooting the system is essentially restarting the phone does absolutely nothing for this effed up update
And so are all the other third grade answers from people and company itself.
Even clearing the partition.
Samsung **bleep** up my $1,000 s23 ultra last month when I bought it it hasn't been turned on since version 5 update so it immediately connected to the internet and asked me to update to version 6 and then version 7 after updating the version 6 I lost all cellular network connections except for Wi-Fi inside and then when I disabled 5G I get maybe one bar of 4G if I go outside.
This is b******* and Samsung is not answering anybody

I have this continuing issue as well- had the S22 - all of a sudden same issue - but no Wi-Fi - I think the mobile service provider locks the phone in the background somehow. Now I am receiving a message that says: "an unauthorized attempt has been made to reset your device to factory default settings. Connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network to verify your identity." I have a mess now, wondering if to transfer my device back from the new phone to the old phone now with the new ISP and see if this theory is true. I will try to report back. It would be nice if Samsung allowed a download of the software to reset/re-format the device

Doesn't work for me. The Android recovery doesn't open.

Same here. I pressed volume up, side buttons and it simply rebooted my S21 FE. My problem is that it has stuffed up my ability to receive SMS from Australia.

Then you are doing it wrong.  It can be tricky.  You have to immediately remove your fingers from both buttons when the logo appears on screen, and then repeatedly tap the volume up button until it enters recovery mode.  If you are too slow or don't tap the volume up button,, the phone will simply reboot normally.

Yes this reset procedure doesn't work for anything. I know this is an older post but as of now there is no fix. Samsung is being sued hopefully they are forced to either buy these phones back or repair them or come out with some sort of fix
