My sim card stops working at completely random times because my phone hasn't gotten a single **bleep** update since I got it, and so I can't have mobile data during those times. The catch is I can't get updates without a new sim card, so I'm left at a standstill and I'm extremely annoyed. Is there any way this can be fixed? I've tried restarting the phone and resetting network settings but it's just a sim card problem.
USA S23+ Factory Unlocked using Visible e-sim & T-Mobile p-sim.
Ive found when checking for update or installing p-sim data no longer works.
The fix: I disable e-sim & p-sim data works again. From there i re-enable e-sim all works as should
Prevent: I check & install updates only on wifi & p-sim data is never lost
Suggestion for you If not using duel sim: Remove sim card , enable wifi & restart. After restart complete wifi connection made allow updates to install. After update reboot completes install sim card & disable wifi.
