My S22 on the OS 12 my assigned notifications sounds got deleted including " message kid "sound is now gone and the other one that went "ring ring" now sure what it was called.
I can no longer assign specific notifications for certain Contacts not for messages. The sound only updates for all notifications. Can I revert back my OS
Try going into your Messages app, and click on the 3 dot menu, then on Settings, then on the Notification option, then on Notification Categories, and finally on New messages. From here you can set your global text messaging tone. If you do this within a specific conversation, then you will hear that tone when the person(s) you are in that conversation text you.
