I've had similar issues, sometimes battery on my phone will cook up to 68°Celsius before it stops accepting a charge.

This is occurring while in my pocket, not on a charger.

I am very sorry to hear your S21 is getting hot enough to melt your screen protector, and can understand how concerning this is. Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smart watch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Use this guide to help keep your devices at their normal operating temperature: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/

If the tips in this guide do not help, and for sure your screen protector is melted, we would need to get this over to our specialized team for further assistance. If and when you are able, please send me a private message, either by clicking my profile and clicking Send A Message, or by following this link: https://bit.ly/3hzZfw8
