Usually when I take a picture of my dog it shows a little picture of a dog in the corner. Or when a plant it shows a plant, and so on. The last few weeks though it does not do this. When I restart my phone it will work for a little but then stops. I have cleared the cache partition. Anyone else having this issue?
I have the same problem. After restart it works for a few minutes, then it stops. It says it's on, however it does not change the icon whatever you point the camera at.
yep, I have contacted them several times and have included system log and each time they tell me to include the system log. so I don't know, classic Samsung camera software problems. hardware is great software was designed by a team stuck in 2009.

S21 Ultra, I've had the same issue with 3 separate devices. My girlfriend's phone works well, her dad's my first and my replacement phones all have the same issue. I thought the new update is going to fix the issue - not the case. I played with the settings, it's the same as my girlfriend's. Her phone doesn't have any issues, my brand new one still does.
well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue. just very confused as to what it could be that makes only some phones not work. hopefully they fix it soon. A lot of my photos not nearly as good as they could be with the scene optimizer working.
