My screen's blacks are flickering from black to gray. Also my Always on Display is no longer pitch black but also gray. I just updated to the Verizon update 30? Does that have anything to do with this?

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I understand how frustrating this must be and I will be more than happy to assist you with your screen flickering.

If your phone screen is damage or not responding, you can still be able to access your personal data. You can connect your phone to your TV, this way you will be able to back up your data.

Connect the appropriate adaptor to your phone, and then connect the HDMI cable to the adaptor. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV. Turn on your TV and select the input that your phone is connected to. From here you can navigate to back up your data.

Once your data is backed up, try forcing a restart by holding down the power key and volume key for 20 seconds. If you are still having issues with your screen next we recommend a factory data reset. From Settings, navigate to Factory Data Reset and review the information and reset your device.

If the above steps did not resolve your issue please reach out to a certified Samsung technician https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

Look up clearing cache when phone is off. Hopefully this will resolve.

My screen started doing the thing where the whole screen lights up for the AOD. It seems to only happen when the screen is on the dimmest setting. The AOD in bright light doesn't do it.
