Upgrade to Google Messages on Galaxy 21

I still have the galaxy 21, and today I got a message on my text to upgrade to Google, has anyone gotten that message also?? And if so did you upgrade?

i did bc it's linked with google, and it can sync messages with other phones

Been few months I think when that notice began if I remember right a couple weeks ago was last I saw a samsung messages update in the galaxy store
