With my imap email account, I am constantly clearing out all emails in my INBOX. I either delete them or save them to other folders. I normally do that when using other email programs on my PC.
Lately, my Samsung S21 has been starting to show a "Last Week" section of emails under my INBOX emails and shows some emails there from last week. I don't want this and can't find any documentation about it and, specifically, documentation about how to get rid of it.
If you can find something labelled "Email sync period" in your settings + apps + email + email settings followed by tapping the account, I have mine set to "all time" but I see there are settings in there for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks and 1 month.
Maybe you need to change yours from "3 days" to "all time".
