Why doesn't my camera flash when trying to take a picture?

How come when I take pics I can't get flash to go on. Am I doing something wrong.

@EricParlatore In the Camera, do you have Flash set to ON? 

If the lightning bolt has a slash through it, it is OFF ... always. 

If the lightning bolt has an "A" by it, it will only flash if the camera thinks you need it. 

If you want it to ALWAYS flash, you need to change the flash setting to just the lightning bolt.

No it works but the two sensors on the left the flash dont go on
