After the latest update on December 5, 2024, my device stopped getting network connectivity. I have tried everything—restarting the phone, resetting network settings, replacing the eSIM—but nothing has worked. What should I do now? Samsung, can I get some help, or do I have to throw my phone away?

Did you backup your phone with Samsung Smart Switch before updating ? Smart Switch backs up your network settings with other items.

Did you try factory reset?

I had to file a claim and get
a replacement phone_
Which cost me $275! My phone isn't even paid for so that sucked

That's ridiculous. Luckily my Verizon store offered a replacement for free but who knows if that will even work and meanwhile won't have my work apps etc. It will literally take me 5 hours to set up my new phone. What a joke. This is so very disappointing.

I am so disappointed they haven't addressed this update via a hot fix. We shouldn't all have to replace our phones and do factory resets. I really wish they would alert us phone owners impacted and provide some sort of credit or service to move us to replacement phones. Not having a working phone is a huge inconvenience and having to now get a new one even greater! I am very very disappointed.
