Galaxy S22After installing 6.1 UI this morning I get an annoying beep every time I open an app of any sort. Never had it before, and the only way to switch off is to put the phone onto silent, and then I miss calls. Why would Samsung think enforcing such a bleep sound is remotely useful?
Any other users had this blight?

Galaxy S22Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. I can understand the inconvenience and irritation a sound coming from opening any apps. First, I would try the Good Lock app, using Nice Catch, to see what the sound is coming from.
If that does not help, I would check with Safe mode, as this could be a rogue third-party app's doing: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/
If the sounds do not occur in Safe mode, then uninstall third-party applications until the behavior stops.
If it continues to beep in Safe mode, it may be time to try a factory reset. Back up everything you can beforehand (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002780/) then perform the factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/
If all else fails, submit an error report via the Samsung Members app: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Submit-an-Error-Report/ba-p/3001692
