Battery dies whenever unplugged from wall charger

Batteries having difficulty charging weather wirelessly or whether using a wall charger and the phone must remain plugged in and order to function semi properly once you unplug the phone it dies within 10 minutes and it dies within 10 minutes and shuts off and battery drains to about 30 to 60%. I must plug the phone in again in order to turn it back on and as long as it's plugged in it remains okay I'm replacing the battery I have it in the mall we'll see if this fixes it any suggestions

Replacing the battery does seem like the first step to take.

How do you replace the battery? Is that a service thing? Now, I am asking for myself in case that ever happens to me.

Would say battery is bad and need to replace

Go to settings, battery capacity and the see how many mAh's it has. If it says something really low, it is a battery problem
