The Calendar Dismiss Button doesn't cancel notification either by pressing or sliding to the right.  The Snooze Button works easily with a finger press but I want to cancel the notification not just postpone it.  Other than going into the calendar and manual canceling the alert, what can I do.  My old S7 worked just fine.

Try swiping up instead of to the right or just pressing it.

Thank you for your response.  I have the Replace swipe with single tap assistant menu turned on but I guess it doesn't work.  I will swipe up.

I have figured out why the Replace swipe with single tap doesn't work sometimes.  When the Assistant menu gets in my way and I turn it off with the Accessibility button, it also turns the Replace swipe with single tap toggle off.  When I click on the Assistant button again to make the menu visible, the single tap works. So, when I answer a call, I just need to see if the menu is visible or not and turn it on.

that's messed up, Samsung. It's clearly an 'X' indicating 'Touch XHEREX'.
Is this something you have control over changing the behavior of?

and they haven't fixed it on my new A54 5G either. What's wrong with Samsung? Should have gotten the Google Pixel like my son.
