Can I turn off mobile data on one SIM?

I have an unlocked version of the S22 Ultra with Cricket Wireless esim and Verizon sim card in the sim slot. Is there any way possible to turn off mobile data for the Verizon sim card only? That's my company phone sim and I'm trying not to use data, but the phone just randomly switches it to primary sim even though I don't have auto switch for data turned on.

Open settings and go connections and click on SIM manager.

Doesn't work. I've tried that. Sim manager, change the primary and it automatically changes randomly to the other. And there's no access to just turn data off for only one sim.

Do a power off and reset and try it again

Yes. I always keep software up to date
