Galaxy S22I dont have a smart TV. I use Google chromecast and cast from Netflix and Youtube apps on my phone. But recently whenever I click on the Cast icon in these apps, it just attempts casting but then just stops.
I have tried restarting my phone and chromecast. The casting then works for the next few times/days and then same issues happens.
I used the trick to clear cache and clear data of Google Play services. It worked fine again for a week then again the same issue.
I dont want to keep restarting my phone/ clearing Play services data(cause then I need to reset Google wallet and all other apps) everytime I want to watch TV.
Did it happen to anyone else? What is the solution?!

Galaxy S22Cause it works with all the other devices in the house. Moreover, as I mentioned I have tried restarting the chromecast as well - which doesn't help at all.

Galaxy S22Ah yes! I missed that in your earlier message. I have tried re-pairing as well.
I guess there was a phone's system update. But I didn't face the problem immediately. And if you restart the phone it starts casting immediately. But the issue comes back abruptly a few times later.

Galaxy S22Yes that is On as well. I also see the chromecast in Smartview. But if I click on it to mirror/cast, it says "connecting" for sometime and then just shows the chromecast device name.
It doesn't cast/mirror anything.
