I've looked and found several "how-to" articles, but I don't have "show more" or "notification categories." I don't recall what I did when I changed the Snapchat sound back to the application's sounds.

How can I change the notifications to be more personalized? And so I can tell notifications apart...

Go into the apps info and where it says the ringtone for that app you can change it. I've found that if I download a ringtone from say zedge, instead of making it a notification tone just download the tone to your media folder. I can then go to different apps and scroll through and pick the one I want
