Has anyone been getting repeat notifications on multiple apps since the official launch of the new software? I was not having this on beta, but multiple apps have been sending me the same notifications over and over and over even though I've acknowledged them. I have probably received the same "like" notification on a Facebook messenger message 20-25 times since Friday. It seems to be message related, not reminders, or calendar etc....
I've tried clearing cache and data on those apps that I'm experiencing it. I also went in my notification history and cleared all history. I'm HOPING I don't have to do a factory reset.
Messenger drives me crazy with this **bleep**! My S21 worked flawless! Had no issues what so ever. And with this s23 Ultra it feels like I'm back to my old S5 and all those not so charming faults.
Same Multiple notifications from IG after I clear them and after I open the notifications the keep popping up all day long, like if they were new notifications. 🙁 started happening after the new 6.0 update.
I had this issue at first and now my S23U is bricked - can;t access anything in apps or the home screen, completely unresponsive. Samsung's fix is to report it through the members app, an app I can;t access and is completely unresponsive when accessed through a notification.
Yea, I'm having the same problem with Instagram mostly. I think it happened with messenger too, but IG has been the one that's been blowing my phone up sadly.
Hey there! I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be for your phone to continuously send you the same notifications!
If you've already tried to clear the cache of the device and a factory data reset the next thing I would suggest is to submit an error report through the Samsung App!
You can do that by going to the Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports.
Since the new update i have been Constantly getting repeat notifications that I have cleared. Getting notifications for messenger in drop down menu but after I click on the notification, it isn't in the chat. So I'm losing messages. ALSO motions shot doesnt have a "view or play motion shot" option on photoa in gallery. Can only tab the button on the camera to turn it on or off. So far, not impressed with the new update
I havent been receiving any messages but since the update either my notification or Facebook messenger notification will go off and there isn't anything in my drop down menu. And I keep getting old text messages pop-up on the sidebar bubble after I have responded to and marked arls read (so it's no longer in the drop down status bar.)
And both my husband and I are constantly not able to make calls because we have no service and then suddenly standing in the same spot we tried before we have service.
