I don't like the new Update

The new update is trash. I don't want to synch my contacts. I literally just want to participate in global challenges and see the map without synching my contacts. The people in my phone don't need to be synched to every single app and account I have. Everything being so connected now a days is stupid. Change it back, let me be an introvert that cares about my health but doesn't need everyone in my phone knowing.

It is off. But with it being off you can't use some of the features. Hence me complaining about them forcing it on us. You must work IT lol

I only do the physical repairs of Samsung devices. Not their IT side. Is it the Samsung Health app?

If that's the case you are God sent. I did that for a year when sprint repaired phones and it can be super finicky! Yes, specifically Samsung Health app but this really goes for in general. Stop forcing contacts to synch and making people so overall connected. It's too much

It's fun sometimes. I have my L2+S from Samsung. So device repairs are easy, I just don't like working on foldables. I found that you can turn off that automatic sync after it synced once. And you can determine who sees your stuff in the together section but other than that, nothing to prevent it from happening.

If you are doing challenges with friends, your contacts need to be synced so that the app can figure out who else is doing challenges.

I'll challenge my friends in real life. I don't want to have my contacts synched to be able to access all the features. It's not that I don't understand how it works. I am purely complaining that it's dumb.

Then why do "together" at all. Just do your stuff and compare stats.
