MEGA THREAD: One UI 6 General Feedback

Awful update of one UI 6. Recently upgraded my s22 ultra to one UI 6 and I really wanna go back. Last time I wrote about the issues in the gallery app, video player in gallery app, and notification panel. After discovering more things about new update is that now I can't play my audio in 2 different Bluetooth speakers at once using media control. I also can't switch back and forth the audio from Bluetooth speaker to my phone speaker and to achieve this I either need to disconnect the speaker or turn off the Bluetooth. This is getting absurd, day by day. These are all my daily activities in life and samsung have completely messed things around and there is no going back. Very poor update from samsung especially at the time of Christmas and season of music. The developers of this  upgrade have arbitrarily made changes without thinking about the users.

Nova launcher has worked well for me since Android 10 on up to now (on Pixel, OnePlus and Samsung S23+ platforms).

The whole reason I use it is to have a consistent experience across different Android mobile manufacturer platforms.

Android has the "set default launcher" thing now so nothing should be an overlay. I use Nova on a Note 20 Ultra and a Note 8 (without a SIM) and it's so lightweight it might as well not be running on both. They've been in beta releases for a long time but I haven't had the launcher crash in the 3-4 years I've been running it with either full releases or beta so I just use those

I have used all those in the past and they work great. I have not used Niagara for too long though.

Funny story that i stopped using them when i got my S22 Ultra as i was fine with the One UI 5 layout

Hmm i may check It out as I don't think Samsung will do anything especially if it makes them have to admit this UI is God awful

I was in the beta for OneUI 6 and it was OK for me, i had to roll back as i needed to travel and didn't want to risk not having a functional phone during the trip

I just installed Microsoft Launcher again to see how it performs on the S22 Ultra. I really liked it when I had my OnePlus 5 and 7T Pro Mc Laren (i know, that's a mouthful)

Microsoft Launcher is an excellent Launcher alternative. I've been using it since it was Arrow Launcher in it's Beta Day's!

Most of the bad changes to the UI were mandated by Google. The new quick settings? Google. Battery screen? Google. Priority notifications getting pushed down by new notifications? Google. Jumping to the pixel just puts you in oversized icon and bloated empty space central. We've already seen goodlock add features to reverse some changes that android 14 induced--just toss on a different launcher and wait for goodlock to clean up this mess.
