MEGA THREAD: One UI 6 General Feedback

Awful update of one UI 6. Recently upgraded my s22 ultra to one UI 6 and I really wanna go back. Last time I wrote about the issues in the gallery app, video player in gallery app, and notification panel. After discovering more things about new update is that now I can't play my audio in 2 different Bluetooth speakers at once using media control. I also can't switch back and forth the audio from Bluetooth speaker to my phone speaker and to achieve this I either need to disconnect the speaker or turn off the Bluetooth. This is getting absurd, day by day. These are all my daily activities in life and samsung have completely messed things around and there is no going back. Very poor update from samsung especially at the time of Christmas and season of music. The developers of this  upgrade have arbitrarily made changes without thinking about the users.

I couldn't agree more. Nonsensical changes like always changing the keyboard font from blocky to slimmer characters and they even changed the **bleep** emojis to look worse.

Quite literally nothing beneficial from this update. Everything just looks and feels worse.

The ONLY good thing I have found out of this update is the Spotify player through the notification panel displays the album name with a translucent picture in the back. That looks fine.

But it also doesn't look great with the Samsung Music Player. Just a fat music logo right in the middle of the title of the song.

My S22 was working perfectly before update. Got stuck in a boot loop after & said that my device was corrupted. Did a cache partition wipe which did nothing. Then I booted into recovery again & tried the delete app data option. Phone booted into safe mode & said that I need to factory reset my phone to be able to use it normally again. Now I'm sitting here manually backing up TONS of data to my laptop & am highly **bleep** off about losing everything in my secure folder.... Thanks Samsung 👍

It's awful. They look like garbage and offer no improvement over the previous emoji design. If ANYTHING they do what every "unique" emoji redesign does: introduce confusion into the unique, inferred meaning of individual emoji characters. Please for God's sake, just use the Unicode character-set!

I agree. There poorly designed and give such a basic interface with a 1st generation appeal. The other emojis by far had way more sleek and well designed interface as well as in depth color a d detail not a basic wanna-be Yellow shade

So many companies treat emojis like a font, like you can just update the look and the meaning remains the same, but it doesn't. There's implied meaning in the facial expressions and it can completely change with the stylistic choices the artist makes. It causes whiplash, and it's such a frustrating thing to have to deal with.

Without a doubt , that's another topic that definitely requires some justice on: fonts. Samsung needs to really enhance the overall quality and designs behind fonts if they wanna give consumers the freedom and wherewithal for clients or consumers to have the most beneficial and satisfied experience then adding a massive upgrade to the fonts packs and not give such basic and elementary font styles. It's boring , it seems wasteful for a high quality phone to have such basic features. Imagination & Creativity can greatly impact sales and satisfaction for small points like emojis and fonts.

I just want them to stop moving and dancing around on the screen when sent as a single part of the message. Why on earth does the laughing crying emoji need to spin in circles?! I can't figure out how to turn that feature off and it's driving me insane
