MEGA THREAD: One UI 6 General Feedback

Awful update of one UI 6. Recently upgraded my s22 ultra to one UI 6 and I really wanna go back. Last time I wrote about the issues in the gallery app, video player in gallery app, and notification panel. After discovering more things about new update is that now I can't play my audio in 2 different Bluetooth speakers at once using media control. I also can't switch back and forth the audio from Bluetooth speaker to my phone speaker and to achieve this I either need to disconnect the speaker or turn off the Bluetooth. This is getting absurd, day by day. These are all my daily activities in life and samsung have completely messed things around and there is no going back. Very poor update from samsung especially at the time of Christmas and season of music. The developers of this  upgrade have arbitrarily made changes without thinking about the users.

I don't understand why people are so upset about the emojies. If you don't like the official Samsung ones, just download a custom set by somebody else. There are dozens of free sets all over the Galaxy Store.

They went for an iPhone look. Permanent useless buttons. Very limited ability to customize the Quick panel now. Only can change colors and whats inside the box. Lots of useless permanent buttons taking up space on the quick panel. Brightness level is harder to reach now. Something that I loved being on the bottom.

@user8HUYZDRZo8 The icons present and location are still editable. The ability just moved. 

1. Open the Quick panel
2. Click the pencil icon
3. Click Edit under Full (or Top). You can then add/remove/rearrange the icons in the main panel.

There are now 2 separate buttons for wifi and Bluetooth I can't remove. There's also 4 buttons at the bottom I can't remove. Buttons that I never use. Dark mode and eye comfort are on 100% of the time for me I don't need those buttons in a permanent location at the very bottom where my thumbs can easily reach

@user8HUYZDRZo8 I suggest that you report this using the Samsung Members app. Click on Support and then click on Error reports.

You are clearly ignorant of the many ways this update is awful. The original poster's issue is not a bug or error, they are describing the fundamental changes they've made to the quick menu UI, which are not editable. All the buttons they described are now hard-coded into the initial drop down menu with no way to move or change any of them.

I realize after a few weeks, I won't even pull down the extended quick panel menu anymore. It's essentially useless for me now.

You could try this. Although, I have not tried it on OneUI 5.0 or 5.1

Download the app called "GoodLock" from the GALAXY APP store.  It is NOT available in Google Play store.

Open the app, go to the "make up" tab and download the app "QuickStar". It allows far more customization of the quick panel menu.

For example, I was able to change my panel (when expanded) back to 5 icons wide like on the older versions of Android.

There are much more goodies this app has, as well, for further customization of the phone.

I have Goodlock and Quickstar.

Quickstar only changes the colors of the quick panel.

How do I tell Samsung the newest update is garbage? My phone is more glitchy than its ever been. It constantly freezes - I can't tap anything on my screen and then it suddenly pops open a million things, sometimes acting as if I clicked on something in whatever pops up from the lag. If I wanted my menu to look like an iPhone, I'd have one. I can't stand the drop down menu changes. Even my photo options have changed and I can't find basic things, like rotating my photo. I go to Gallery, click the image, click the "pencil" or whatever icon to make changes and there is no easy flip the pic anymore. It's great if they wanted to add options, but from I see, they removed a basic one. I don't understand why they're trying to be more like iPhone. I do not want an iPhone, that's why I have an Android! 

Reading through other posts, I realize I forgot to mention the battery life issue, the audio issues, visual voice-mail issues, and the new disgusting font!! The updated emojis are cartoonish and they suck! The font is fkd up all over. **bleep** were you thinking Samsung?? Everything about this update is trash!!!!!
