Galaxy S22Many Samsung phones have a mobile hotspot quick menu button to enable or disable it from the swipe down menu at the top, but mine has never had one (and no, it's not an available option from the other shortcuts). Each and every time I have to enable the hotspot, I have to search through the menus which is a huge pain.
Is there a way to enable the quick menu icon through some kind of Developer option? Why is it not displayed along with other commonly used features, like Wifi, or Bluetooth?
I bought my phone directly from the Samsung store in Canada without any plan, and it's the latest update on every Samsung-related app, and the latest Android updates available.

Galaxy S22Why would I need to download a 3rd party app to enable something that should be available as part of the basic phone features, and that many other owners of Samsung Galaxy phones already have as an option?

Galaxy S22As far as having a hot spot quick toggle, you are in Canada. Maybe you should ask this question on the Canadian boards.

Galaxy S22To add, swipe down twice to open the quick settings panel (not the notifications panel), press the pencil icon and then click edit (top or full) to edit shortcuts, and at the bottom you should see the shortcut for the hotspot, you can add it by tapping on it or dragging it to the center panel.

Galaxy S22@toast73 This may be some type of regional or carrier configuration. Unfortunately you have landed in the user to user discussion group for Samsung US products and services. To find the discussion group for Canada, visit https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite/

Galaxy S22Do you have a carrier now? I would think the hotspot setting would not be available with no carrier attached. In any case, you should do as @LongHiker suggested and find the group for your region. There may be hardware or software differences between models built for different regions.
