On my new S22 I wanted to create a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account (as on my old one) to use email, contacts and the agenda with additional apps (esspecially the calendar app, I use more agendas so I need an app to combine those).
While create my account, no matter what I do, I still get the error message: "Can't verify the account. Can't connect to your account. Check your account and serveraddresses and try again" (translated from dutch).
I've tried with different settings, even an another account from a colleague, but the error remains. When I create my account on a phone from my colleague, theres no problem whatsoever.
What is the problem with my S22 (UI: 5.1, Android 13) and the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync? Sounds like a bug to me.
I am also having the same issues. Funny thing is originally when I first got my S22, I had no issues. (This was just as it came out). Now a few weeks ago, we had issues with a co-worker's email and as i set up ALL emails on phones here, we were testing settings. I went and deleted my email and went to put hers in and it didn't work. now none of the possible (and we have a few) emails/logins work. All come back as "can't verify". I went and put the same information on an iPhone - No issues!. I even ticked off SSL thinking that maybe that is it so I don't know. The only thing that I do know is that this year, our server became obsolete and while it works, it is no longer being updated by Microsoft.. wonder if that could be the cause.
I requested our service provider to update our Exchange server. After updating our Exchange I could finally create my MS Exchange ActiveSync account. Thanks for the tip!
