S22+ Keeps opening the mic on Bluetooth devices.

As stated in the title, my S22+ keeps opening the microphone on Bluetooth devices and defaulting to the low quality audio. This is causing issues for me, especially in the car. My car's infotainment system thinks I am on a call that I can't hang up. It takes over the audio even if nothing is playing. I can't find any apps that are using the microphone when I see this happening. I don't understand what's happening. Any ideas?

Delete all linked Bluetooth devices, re link the car only for a test. If it works well then link another until you find the bugger 🙂

Edit: also when you connect the Bluetooth device go to that connected device settings in Bluetooth to see what's it acting as on the phone
