S22 Phones Wi-Fi dropping and reconnecting again

After the initial UI 6 update, our S22 phones started dropping and reconnecting wifi every few seconds. The fix was to disable everything under "Intelligent wifi" in Settings. Wifi stayed connected... at least for a few months.

But now some recent update has wifi dropping and reconnecting again, like before. Not Intelligent wifi this time, because that feature is still disabled.

Any advice? The internet is clogged with users who have this problem, but there aren't any recent/new fixes AFAIK. We're close to ditching our Samsungs for something more stable.

My 22 Ultra has now gone from dropping wifi every couple of seconds to wifi not turning on at all. No matter what network. I had also already turned off intelligent wifi

Had same issue after update Aug 1st, 2024. Galaxy S22+ Tried rebooting phone, Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose ā€œWipe Cache Partitionā€, forgot network setting. Would always disconnect, reconnect then disconnect. Just on WiFi6, older Wifi worked fine and all other devices on network fine. Eventually I reset the router and that fixed it. TP-Link AX6000 Next-Gen on latest firmware for months.

Yes. Same thing was happening in my s21 ultra and now s23 ultra. I think when more people connected to same wifi, it keeps disconnecting every second. Earlier i used to restart the router via dlink page, which fixed the problem. But now its not working i guess. Just turned off intelligent wifi, Lets see. I think this is a major issue Samsung should consider solving first.

I tried everything multiple times:  Wi-Fi reset, turned off "intelligent" Wi-Fi, clear cache, factory reset (that was such fun to reset up my entire phone again).  Nothing works.  Not having Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is not an option.   The problem started with the August UI update.  Samsung help - it is not an issue that can be hardware fixed - it's a firmware issue.   I will be purchasing a Pixel.

OP here. Without waiting for the usual messages and prompts to go update, I've just gone into Settings > Software Update and installed the latest. Wifi is staying connected now.

Maybe it's been silently fixed?

I've been having a similar issue the last 3 months, but not on all networks. When I'm at my office my phone connects without issues and stays connected. However , when I'm home my phone will connect and disconnect every 30 seconds or so. I've tried everything possible and still same issues. So frustrating and annoying.
