So I just got a S22 Plus that's under warranty and I'm wondering if I should attempt to update my phone? Are Pluses boot looping? I've tried to search but all I've found concerning the S22 Plus is stuff from months ago. Nothing recent.

Are S22 Pluses boot looping from this latest update? I saw other people saying phones with Snapdragon aren't boot looping, either. From what I read, I believe that may apply to this phone also. Should I try to update since I have a 90 day warranty with like 87 days left on it?

Anybody?

My phone wants me to update it but it wants me to use WiFi and I don't have any but I do have data. Why can't it use my data?

Did you turn off auto download over wi-fi?  Perhaps there's a wi-fi hotspot near you, perhaps at a library or fast-food place or other business establishment?

Snapdragon user here, 6.1 came out a while ago I have the December update already installed. I have not had the boot looping issue. Odd that update came out months ago and it just causing it now. I you have an exynos chip hold off. There are no new features

It's an S22+ 5g and I'm not in Europe so it's definitely Snapdragon. The update that's causing issues just came out at the beginning of December, I think. I really don't know a bunch about this. I only got this phone 2 or 3 days ago so I'm still new to all of this info and still trying to separate it all and understand what I'm reading. I wasn't even 100% sure which chipset I had until right now lol.

Thank you for the help. It is greatly appreciated!

OK I just updated and it seems to be working. Which cache? I assume it's under Settings with the Factory Reset option and whatever else?

Edit: nah. It's not with the Factory Reset stuff. Which cache? I remember reading about this earlier but don't recall exactly what it was. Thanks!

Type in cache in the search bar while in settings
